NOT MEXICAN... THIS IS A WESTERN ATTMOSPHERE

Our appitizer of the southewestern Egg rolls were excellent and different, great dipping sauce. The soup of the day is homemade and different each day and excellent. They have weekly specials which the stuffed trout was and a side dish of garlic mashed potaotes are really garlicky and great. The wild boar burger is made with fresh meat and cooked to order, the french fries are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, yummy. The Banana Changa is to die for and so is the Cookies and cream cake and could be enjoyed by 2. The restaurant is upstairs, only 18 yrs or older and the patios have views of the mountains. There are Live Bands some nights and dancing. Big Screen T.V.'s keep you up to date on sports if you're not enjoying the patio views of the mountains and pedistarians below. This is no way a Mexican restaurant but a cowboy/western restaurant with Buffalo burgers and Wild Boar burgers. The bar is excellent with drink specials with a twist. Can't go to Banff without going to Wild Bills!!!!!

Dinner in Banff: A Calgary road trip

Dinner in Banff: A Calgary road trip

This second-floor bar and grill overlooks Banff Avenue. A little bit country and a little bit Rocky Mountain, its hickory-wood-smoked meats add a savoury kick to its take on pub cuisine. Recommended dinner dishes include pulled pork sliders, elk burger with smoked gouda as well as half or whole roast chicken. A party place later in the evening, check the venue’s website for a calendar of live-music presentations and events, including mechanical bull nights and karaoke Tuesdays.
