Great experience! I was shopping for grad gowns with My daughter. We had already been to other bridal shops. We arrived at Blisful Bridal with out an appointment. We were greeted in a friendly professional manner immediately and after a short wait, we were ushered in and introduced to Karina our cheerful staff professional. Karina took the time with My daughter to help her find the styles She was looking for and offer suggestions and ideas. Karina was very helpful and patient throughout the process and very professional. It wasn't long and my daughter had found her dream gown. Thanks so much to the professional and friendly staff at Blisful Bridal and especially to Karinna H. For all her help. You guys made this Dad a lot more comfortable and made my daughter extremely happy. We are looking forward picking up the dress soon. Blisful Bride provided an excellent experience in gown shopping!!!!
A friend of mine is getting married to HIS partner. On his special day he has asked us three girls to stand with him in formal bridesmaid dresses. My friend and one of the other girls went to this store only because it was close to their work and they did find the perfect dress for us to wear. I went with my mother to look and pay for the dress and the sales lady Tammy, who i learned later was the owner of the shop, asked my mother what sort of style wedding dress we were looking for my mother told her we were there for a bridesmaid gown she was very upset and snapped at my mom saying, good we don't except walk in anyway that would ruin my day, I ignored her comment, this is my friends day, I payed for the dress and the girl took my contact info said she would call when it's in 4 months later my friend calls said the dress has been in for over a month!!! when I called she said the payment was over due and they may no longer have it in! Not to mention when she asked for the name of the "Bride" I did inform her that there were two grooms she said that was impossible that the orders are ALWAYS under the brides name. after 5 mins on the phone trying to explain to her she said I will have to bring the receipt and she will try and figure it out! this is the WORST place to go for ANY sort of dress NEVER GO THERE!!!!!
We went to Blissful Bridal to check out bridesmaids dresses. Overall I thought we had a wonderful experience, friendly staff and we were successful in finding the "perfect" dress. We ordered the dresses and in several conversations it was said and discussed with Tammy (our sales lady who did all of our fittings and placed our order) that the dresses were black with blue sashs. Well the dresses are in, and they are cobalt on cobalt! The store is saying the mistake was our fault and they, at this point, have no intention on helping us out. It is to late to re order dresses so now the poor bride needs to make changes to her wedding. I understand mistakes happen, but i think it is really to bad that Blissful Bridal is not doing more to help this situation. My brother just got engaged and I am to be apart of their wedding party and originally I had told his fiance we should go to Blissful Bridal, but once this current dress disaster is over I will NEVER shop at this store again!
I have 6 bridesmaids in my wedding. We met one of the sales girls at the bridal fair and she was super helpful so we decided to go and get the girls bridesmaid dresses from here. We got there and they were nice of course. The owner Tammy was the one who fitted all the girls and helped us chose the dresses and the sash that would compliment the dress. We ordered the dresses and as one of the girls was paying for her dress I looked at the receipt and notice that it said cobalt/cobalt. I said to the girl, no we want black & cobalt. She said don't worry about that it's just for us to use as a code. This was back in March. June rolls around and I get the call that the dresses are in and we need to book an appt for the fittings. Made the appt and go to it. They bring out the dress and they did order cobalt/cobalt. I almost died! I spoke to the owner and she said to me "well I am ordering you in black sashes but this is your fault not mine. I am taking a hit on the sashes and I will not do anything else because you are to blame!" I am appalled by her ignorance and rudeness. All I asked her was if she could give us some type of discount or do the alterations at no charge. She then pretended that she has no knowledge of what we actually ordered even though she was the person who helped us in the 1st place. She has partially wrecked my wedding day and will not accept any responsibility for this and even had the gall to tell me that her staff does not make mistakes. DO NOT give her your business otherwise she will cost you money on your special and crucial day and have no remorse for it. I have been in the customer service industry for over 15 years and I would and have never treated one of my clients/customers like this ever!
ordered bridemaids dresses, came in...wrong colour. They told us on the receipt that is what we ordered...who is looking at the receipt when we were all just talking with the girl how pretty they will be in the colour we wanted. So partically our fault, I guess you can't trust that people know what they are doing, always have to double check other peoples work. Colour scheme of the wedding accessories are going to have to be changed. You would think the manager would have some business sense and offer a discount or something...NO as she said basically it is our fault!!! What happened to the customer is always right, a good business pratice is to do whatever you can to keep the customer happy. Blissful Bridal does not care they have your money, they know you don't have time to order new ones...you are out of luck!!
I just bought my wedding dress on Saturday from this store. I had made appointments at other stores but when making the appointment they always seemed perturbed by my budget (I didn't want to spend more than $1500). I walked in the door with my mother and we were instantly greeted. The sales girl let me check out the racks and I selected a few dresses for myself and started trying them on. The sales girl, I think her name was Alleen (or Aellen) was amazing. She was always right there when I stepped out of the dressing room, ready to zip me up or do up buttons. She selected a few extra dresses for my to try on based on what I was saying about the other dresses. I felt bad because the store was really busy and we were taking a long time, but she just said not to worry and didn't make me feel rushed at all. At the end of the day she picked the dress that I'm going to wear on my wedding day. I would 100% recommend this place...
I been looking for a dress for my wedding coming up this Sept. I went to a different bridal store here in Calgary,most of the stores are full of people and the dresses are pricy. I decided to go for a drive to Blissful bride. *take note* I have no appointments. They're all helpful in the store and ready to accommodate you. I pull out one dress from the rack and BINGO! for not even an hour I found my dress with the right price cheaper than my budget! Their store is not crowded. You have a lot of room to move. I feel like a bride on that dress. So what are you waiting for,check out their store.:) I cannot wait for the big day!:)
This place is perfect for those of us that don't want someone looking over our shoulder & who want to look at price tags. Lots of selection, the girls were incredibly helpful and we found my dress in less than 1.5 hours. I also liked you could just drop by, no appointment necessary. Orders take 4-6months to arrive so be aware. Just wish they had a website!
i tried a few other places in calgary, beautiful bride, the bridal centre and ethos bridal, and found all of them had fairly pushy sales associates and their dresses were incredibly expensive. this was the first place i went that let me try on as many dresses as i wanted for as long as i wanted and as many times as i wanted. the staff was friendly and accomidating and their prices were unreal. i highly recommend this place.
This bridal shop has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The bridal party bought 4 dresses from Blissful Bridal and after they were ordered in two of them were at least 2 sizes too big. When I called to complain both managers were rude and agrumentitive and it took over a week for them to decide if they were going to fix the problem and then they were going to make me pay for the alterations. I would could not imagine what they would be like to deal with if they ordered a wedding dress in the wrong size!
