The culinary hand behind the nationally acclaimed Model Milk and Pigeon Hole, chef Justin Leboe is also the menu master of this 17th Avenue Southwest burger bar. The Clive Burger festival entry takes its sustainably produced fast food in a Latin direction with the Mexi-Clive Burger. Served with a choice of beef or spicy black bean veggie patty, these babies have bite. Condiments include house-made pico de gallo, jalapeno jack cheese, Clive sauce and fried corn tortilla.
This clean, hip burger restaurant is simple in both design and menu – the room features a central counter and a few tables (as well as a small sidewalk patio in summer), and the menu offers burgers, smokies, custard shakes and fries. The fries can be poutined, but they’re just as good on their own, especially when you dip them in Clive’s signature Clive Sauce.
Clive Burger keeps it simple with a menu that features burgers, smokies, fries and drinks. Grab your burger and go, or sit and watch the crowds on 17th Avenue stroll by. Either way, it’s a quick and delicious lunch.
