Wow what can I say about the Living Room, the staff are the nicest well spoken people in this city by far.The owner Cliff makes this restaurant so popular from his high spirits and eager to please everyone. The dress code is what ever you desire and the food is like living in Paris.
If you ever get the chance to dine this is one should not miss out on.
While The Living Room dubs its food contemporary interactive cuisine, it can also be described as French and Italian meets classic Canadian with the accompaniment of great wine. The 17th Avenue Southwest spot also happens to feature a lengthy and luscious dessert menu. On that list, The Shaft is a double-chocolate brownie served with Kahlua-espresso crème anglaise and vanilla ice cream.
This cozy restaurant is set back from the bustle of 17th Avenue Southwest by a large front patio that features two large outdoor fireplaces, which extend the establishment’s outdoor dining season. The restaurant’s contemporary cuisine features delicious twists on classic French and Italian dishes with a distinctive Canadian touch. Many dishes are designed with sharing in mind. If you’re lucky, you’ll find an open space in the complimentary parking lot in the rear of the building.
This very cozy restaurant on the 17th Avenue Southwest promenade presents Canadian ingredients prepared with French and Italian flair. It’s very much about sharing as well as great wine and excellent service. Three-, four- and five-course meals are served with optional wine pairings seven days a week. Reserve a table on its walled patio when in season, and you’ll feel like you’re in your own little environment.
