I ordered take ou...

I ordered take out from this location, and with only a 3-5 minute drive home I arrived and the food was disgusting. I didn't have time to take it back due to having to already rush to an appointment, so I put it in the fridge and had to return it about 90 minutes after ordering it. When I brought it back the manager I spoke to was very rude. She told me I was weird and refused to give me a refund. I understand the situation was a little out of the ordinary due to the time line, but I felt that she could have handled herself a million times better. I dont appreciate going in as an unhappy and stressed out customer and then getting insulted. She called me weird more than once as well as odd and argued with me for a solid 15 minutes. She also lied to me and said she couldn't give me a refund because the order was under some other girls number who had already left the building. Except that she's a manager and she can override that. Needless to say, I was insulted, argued with and lied to... i eventually got a refund thankfully. I will never be returning to this food chain again. Also, as a note to the restaurant: train your managers on how to speak to other people.

Dear Guest, We appreciate your feedback. Waffles and breakfast generally don't hold well for takeout, as opposed to eating in at the restaurant. Especially if the food is returned 3 hours after the take-out was picked up. We have a high service standard at Ricky's all day Grill and appreciate your feedback. Our management is trained to Ricky's standards and would have definitely considered the refund if the food was brought back in a timely manner. The food was brought back untouched and 3 hours later. We do not issue refunds based on the time factor. However, we considered this customer forgot her food in the car and issued the refund on a friendly gesture. Would not be my first choice

We were one of 3 tables in the place and our food took over a half hour to come out. When we did get it the food was really good. Our server was did not come around much until our food arrived. I found myself wanting more attention for drink refills or to ask when food was coming.
