Meet the owner

When you travel, your first priority is comfortable, clean accommodation with a great location and amenities that provide you with a great stay. Offering a central downtown location, the River Wynde Executive Bed and Breakfast makes sure to meet those requirements. “It’s a very personal thing, welcoming somebody into this home,” says owner Deanne Mudd. “We have a relaxing atmosphere and always extend a sincere, warm-hearted reception to everyone who stays here.”

Deanne has been operating River Wynde Executive Bed and Breakfast since December of 1999. “I thought it was unusual to have a B&B in the city,” says Deanne, “considering that there are hotels all over the downtown area.” But she was excited about the opportunity to provide travellers with a different experience and a more personal approach. New to the B&B world, Deanne wasn’t entirely sure what to expect with her unusual approach, however, things soon fell into place. “To my surprise,” she recalls, “this form of hospitality came naturally to me and our guests embraced the differences!”
