A fantastic restaurant. The service was top-notch. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and was a wealth of information when questioned. They were attentive to our every need and ended up making for what has got to be a world-class experience. The food was fantastic and the Chef even shared a complimentary corn soup antipasto with our table... again, it was fantastic! Thanks for your attention to detail and for the great ambiance!

Teatro, in the posh Dominion Bank building on Stephen Avenue Walk, carries vintages going back to when the fine Italian eatery opened close to three decades ago. They buy the same wines every year, from Napa and Bordeaux, and that means they create verticals with a lot of the high-end wines. It’s possible to enjoy vintages of the same wine going back years. That’s their pride and joy – they invested in a great cellar.
Many folks visit elegant Teatro (which is housed in the beautiful old Toronto Dominion Bank building) for special occasion dinners. It also does a solid lunch service, suitable for upscale meetings. Or just pop in on a stressful workday, and treat yourself to an impeccably prepared beef strip loin or a silky dish of the daily risotto.
An Italian fine-dining landmark in the posh Dominion Bank building on Stephen Avenue Walk, Teatro is very prestigious. The rest of the world doesn’t exist when you’re in there; it’s a beautiful environment. Available seven days a week, the tasting menu features eight courses plus an amuse bouche, and is likely the most expensive in the city. Wine pairings are optional and full-table participation is required.
