Best experience I’ve had with a dealership in Alberta by far. Randy, the Business Manager, was so easy to work with and was such a gentleman. Ryan also helped to make sure the whole process went smoothly and made sure everything was in order. Peter, our Sales Rep, was a star! He went above and beyond to ensure our customer satisfaction, which we were extremely happy with and grateful for. This is the only dealership I plan on working with, despite the fact that we live in Edmonton. Thanks!

Phil Rutherford is awesome

Just wanted to say Phil Rutherford is the man to see! Amazing price, amazing delivery time, extremely outgoing and supportive of my obsession and temporary insanity while ordering a 2015 Challenger R/T. Patiently and encouragingly endured my daily calls and inquiries, followed all my requests for delivery, and honestly, for the price he gave me on the car, probably not getting paid enough to put up with me.

Awful Service Part 2

At 8am on a friday morning, I brought my vehicle to Varsity Chrysler with a photo of the scan my fiance had done which indicated a cylinder 4 misfire. It wasn't until 11am that I received a phone call saying that my vehicle diagnostic was nearly finished and I should be expecting a call shortly to go over the results. At 1:50pm I phoned the dealership myself to ask for the results and was told that my service advisor should return from lunch and they'd have her phone me within 10 minutes. At 3pm, I had yet to hear from the advisor and made another phone call. She was very abrupt and told me they were still not finished and that she had only spoken to me recently (I hadn't heard from her since 11am). She phoned me back with the results stating that I needed to replace all 6 of my spark plugs and needed a fuel flush to remove the carbon from my fuel lines. She also stated that I would have to pay a $99.00 diagnostic fee as the results of my diagnostic report were not covered under warranty. In total, I was told in order to properly diagnose my check engine light, I would have to pay nearly $1,000.00 (I'm not exaggerating) to rule out the possibility of malfunctioning spark plugs and the possibility of having carbon in my fuel lines. Did I forget to mention that my vehicle was not only under warranty still but I had extended warranty AND only 75,000km on my 2009 Journey? That evening, I picked up my vehicle with the intentions of replacing my spark plugs the following Monday. Over the weekend, I had a private Mechanic replace my cylinder 4 spark plug, which did not fix the problem. The Mechanic had the brilliant idea of replacing the coil pack. The problem was simply a bad coil pack and had the dealership properly diagnosed my check engine light, it would have been under warranty along with the diagnostic fee. My total was only $65.00 and a day without a vehicle.

Awful Service Part 1

In November of 2012, I purchased a used vehicle (2009) from Varsity Chrysler. Being skeptical of purchasing a used vehicle for mechanical worries, I chose a vehicle that offered warranty for another year as well as extended warranty which was passed to me from the previous owner. Within the first month of ownership, I was forced to replace the battery. In January (4 months after purchase), my check engine light began to blink in the mornings. I phoned Varsity immediately and was told to "keep an eye on it". The problem was persistent so a few weeks after it began, I took it in for an oil change and made mention of the problem again. Again, I was told "keep an eye on it and don't worry, we've found nothing wrong". When I brought my vehicle in the following week to have my wheel speed sensor repaired (under warranty), I again asked them to have a look at it. They claim to have found nothing wrong the second time and I was told for the third time "don't worry about it, we couldn't find anything wrong". It was until I experienced a bucking under load while drive on Stoney Trail with a flashing and then constant check engine light that I finally was able to convince them to take ANOTHER look at my vehicle.
