I have been taking my cats there for years. Dr. Sherry Van Boxtel is the best and she took such wonderful care of my cats and treated them like her own. She is amazing. The rest of the staff are fantastic too. If you need a vet this is the place to go.
Ok so I think I have been officially priced out of going to this clinic. A standard teeth cleaning for my dog now starts at $1500+ and I regularly have her teeth cleaned. But who can afford to have it done yearly at that price?! I have felt for a while that they gauge clients, and this was proven when I took my dog to another vet for the same service and paid A THIRD OF THE PRICE of what they were quoting. Vet tech said prices go up every year so the overcharging will get worse. I'm out.
I have been seeing Dr. Sheffield with my dogs for 8 years now. She is caring and friendly. She is thorough with their overall care and surgical procedures, always explaining what to watch for and why various procedures are necessary or recommended. She is calm with my timid dogs and they have grown to trust her. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and caring for every animal brought in. Our appointments have always been on time.
I have seen both Dr. Neufeld and Dr. Van Boxtel numerous times for my rabbit. They, along with the rest of the staff, are very compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. They are easily accessible, have long service hours, short wait times, and a spacious and meticulously clean facility. Their excellent service is more than worth the money, although they are quite reasonably priced considering exotic animal care is expensive, and they provide exceptional care! Highly recommend!

We have been coming to Calgary Trail Pet Hospital for many years, today I visited with my new furry friend Mizi a sweet little black cat. As always the level of care was amazing, the entire staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. A big Thank you to all.

They have excelle...
They have excellent service hours and appointments run on time while they have still gone out of their way to deal with emergencies for my pets. They take the time to make your pet comfortable before examining them and always keep you well informed for treatment options. Long term staff so your pet gets comfortable seeing the same people and no high pressure sales to purchase their food etc. Very kind and caring and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent pet care

Best Veterinarian I've Ever Been To

I've been going here for years and I've never once had anything negative to say about this place. The facility is clean and has a lot to offer. The staff (every single person employed here) are kind, knowledgeable, and only looking out for your best interest.
I always bring my pets to Dr. Fredlund because she's superb but all of the other vets are amazing as well.
I always recommend this place to anyone that listens (even if they don't have pets sometimes).
