Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord (Greater North Central Francophone Education Region No.2) is the largest Francophone school district in Alberta with over 3,368 students attending our 19 Francophone schools - catholic or public - in Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Jasper, Legal, Red Deer, St. Albert, Wainwright, Beaumont, Camrose, Sherwood Park, and Llydminster. Over 350 employees work in this organization. French first language education is intended for children who are eligible under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
