Worst experience I've ever had with a pet clinic, worst experience with ANY customer service, especially the practice manger Doug. Very unprofessional. Never going back again ! My dog was playing at the park and tripped on something, her ankle was swollen to the size of a baseball. We took her to Ellerslie Pet Hospital right away, the Vet Andrew looked at it and said it was a sprain, did not say an X-Ray was mandatory, also that it was less than a 10% chance that it was broken that he claimed to have big breeds himself and that it would go away in a couple weeks. Well 3 weeks went by and nothing changed, it was still extremely swollen. We took her to General Pet Hospital, and at first feel they could tell it was broken. After X-Rays, it was confirmed. My poor girl has been walking on a broken leg for the past month, us thinking it was only a sprain because that's what we were told by the Vet. We are extremely unhappy with the service we received from Ellerslie Pet Hospital. Very negligent to over look something so severe.. We called just to make them aware of the situation, and we received a phone call from the practice manager, Doug, being very rude and disrespectful, telling us that we are liars, and the Vet, Andrew, was a competent Vet, and that we are never welcome back again. Would never suggest or recommend using this practice ! Very very disappointing, will be taking this to higher rank for sure.
