Urban Retreat Body & Skincare Centre offers a wide range of cutting-edge services that include laser hair removal, facials, peels, manicures, pedicures, waxing and more. Founder and director Anita Prysko has also brought in a doctor who specializes in Botox and fillers in response to client requests.

Over the years, Anita has noticed a huge growth in the number of male clients. “It used to be that guys would come in for a massage and the occasional waxing before a holiday,” she says. “These days, they are coming in more often for skin treatments, manicures and pedicures.” Anita explains that most men who visit her business are initially introduced by their wives or girlfriends the first time, and now some have started coming in more frequently than their partners.
