Carol and Rollie LaMarche started their business small in 1981, but through years of hard work and following their passion for art they have turned Picture This! framing & gallery into an international award-winning store. “We started with a picture frame store in a garage in Edmonton,” says Rollie. “We looked around and found Sherwood Park was a good place to have a business and raise a family, so we moved out here.”
Picture This! framing & gallery is focused on customer service and adapts to changing trends. It represents more than 250 artists from around North America, which provides the gallery with a variety of styles for all tastes. “If anything, we are very good at helping people get what they want because most people don’t know what that is. It takes asking some questions, because everyone is different,” says Rollie.
The staff is constantly learning their craft by attending art shows and keeping up with the latest framing techniques. This commitment led to them taking home the grand prize at the International Larson-Juhl Creative Classic Picture Frame Competition – the largest contest of its kind in North America.
This highly-esteemed store has grown since it opened in 1981. One thing that hasn’t changed is the excellent customer service. It’s adapted to changing trends and tastes to give clients the latest designs and materials in creative custom framing. Their skills earned them the grand prize at the prestigious Larson-Juhl Creative Classic Picture Frame competition, one of the largest in North America.
