Robin Molyneaux, owner of Midnight Magic Lingerie has been in business for 13 years now and is located in St Albert, Alberta. This is a short 5 minute drive from Edmonton's West or North area. The business was started out as a small boutique specializing in lingerie for both men and women from regular to plus sizing. I wanted to own my own business after leaving the corporate world so I could be a bit more flexible raising my two sons. It was important for me to be able to attend all their school events and volunteer with school activities. After numerous fashion shown and public speaking events that have been held in as small a venue as a school gym and as large as bis hotels and even outdoor events and through the years from listening to my customer's I became to realize what women really wanted was a place to go for one women oriented services like bra fitting and personal special products and to feel comfortable talking about all the things that woman are so hard on themselves for. Midnight Magic has been very active in our community for years contributing and donating to so many charities the list is too long. The store won Best of St Albert for lingerie in 2009/10 and believes it's all due to that very careful listening skill she and her staff have taken pride in with their customers. One of the goals they have recently accomplished was finally becoming approved and certified as a AADL preferred vendor as professional mastectomy fitters and breast form suppliers. She works very closely with the Breast Cancer Survior groups giving speeches on said subject and supporting and raising funds for this cause. "It's true that most women wear bras that don't fit them," says Robin Molyneaux of Midnight Magic Lingerie. "That's probably the number one complaint. Sometimes we see women on the street and just want to discreetly hand out our business card and invite them to come in."
Midnight Magic Lingerie specializes in bra fittings and carries the undergarments that are so essential to a woman's life in cups ranging from the smallest A to the largest M sizes. "We offer professional bra fittings for women of all shapes and sizes, but really focus on the woman with the larger cup," says Robin. "And I stress the larger cup, not necessarily the larger woman, because there are many women who have difficulty finding the tiny band and large cup. We're here to help."
I've been here a couple times and I really like it. They have a ton of bras and a lot in my size (larger). They did a free fitting for me and I discovered my size is totally different than what I thought it was. The ladies were all really nice and even ordered in a couple bras that weren't in stock for me. They also had some lingerie and men's underwear and other stuff. Prices were great for a bra boutique - you get what you pay for in quality. I'll be back.
Before this visit I had been to Midnight Magic Apparel approximately 2 years prior and had had terrible service. I thought now it had been awhile and possibly they improved and perhaps I caught them on a bad day. Lets give them another chance. The service I received was even worse. I was given incorrect information about how a bra should fit and when I didn`t agree the clerk became rude. I`ve been to many bra botiques that all had professional bra fitters and none had given me the information the clerk at Midnight Magic Apparel had. The information they gave was a completely opposite. Plus they were friendly, courteous and thanked me for my business. After the incorrect information and unprofessional service I received I will never go back to Midnight Magic Apparel.
