Terrible Customer Service
I have been attending St. Albert Dental Centre for a number of years, and decided to discontinue my attendance today after very poor customer service. On numerous occassions, the reception staff has been abrupt and unpleasant, but today takes the cake. I was called earlier to rebook my appoitment (which I booked well in advance). I called back, and was told that the earliest appointment I could book for the time of day that worked with my work schedule was not until November. I stated that this was unnacceptable, considering I was being bumped out of my appointment so that Dr. Mueller could attend a course. While I understand that circumstances change, I figured that they could have accomodated me at an earlier time since I was put at an inconvenience. The receptionist stated that they can't have dental hygenist staff stay later just to accomodate those who do not want to wait. I responded that yes, I understood this, but there had to be a way to accomodate me since I had been waiting for a long period of time to be seen. Instead, I was offered another solution. "Why don't you look for another dentist if you are unhappy with us?" The snarky receptionist went on to say that I was "angry" and that "finding another dentist" was the best way to deal with the issue at hand. This aggravated me further, so I let her know that her snide comments were what was actually making me angry. I am tired of dealing with the unpleasant staff, and I no longer wish to hand my hard-earned money over to them. Dr. Mueller is also one that spends very little time with his patients. Use only in cases of dental emergencies - if they can accomodate you, and they don't bite your head off in the process.
