    awesome!!!!!

    The first thing I noticed when I walked into the parlour was how clean it was! funky colours, a really good atmosphere! Someone came up front and helped me right away. Very informative artists, they were able to answer all of my questions and draw up a sketch and book me in without having to wait days and days. Loved the design for my tattoo! love my tattoo! very pleasant experience overall! I'd highly recommend any of the artists here to any of my friends!

    Lacking in professionalism and talent

    I recently got a very simple design done at Lucid Tattoo and Design in Sylvan. I chose Lucid because he promised me a decent price and it was close to me. Before the tattoo the artist was talking to his friend and was ignoring his apprentice and client when she was asking him a question. The stencil was put on quite poorly as it was completely smudged, the artist assured us he could see the lines. After I took the bandage off my tattoo was not like the design I gave him, or even like the stencil. It was not very symmetrical, the lines were not straight and parts of the black weren't filled in completely. I emailed them inquiring about a touch up and never got a reply. The imperfections are not necessarily noticeable at a first glance, but upon further inspection and the closer you look they are evident. I do love my tattoo, not because of how it was done but because of the meaning, so I don't have regrets about the tattoo itself, I just wish I didn't go to Lucid. Honestly, go to a shop that has a good history and track record of quality tattoo's. Not this place. It's not worth it.
