Does not honor her waitlist. Was told multiple times when it was time to get my puppy that either some had died or were sick so I would be next on the waitlist for the next litter. Little to no communication on her end as well, very hard to get ahold of. Do not give this breeder a “non-refundable deposit,” you will never see your money again. Bad service, once she had my deposit, she was very difficult to join, she gave no answer to my message. I was supposed to have a puppy and the dog had an abortion .. Sandy told me a week after the expected date of delivery. She wanted me to adopt a puppy from another litter, but without showing me a photo of the mother because her computer was not working .. but it worked to go on FB but not to send an e-mail. I refused to bond with another female because it was not what I wanted initially and I

Sandy has been breeding defective puppies for a few years now. She’s more into showing her dogs but sells puppies to make extra money and doesn’t care about the health of them. They have severe fear and digestive problems from day one. Sandy likes to blame the owner because she’ll never take responsibility for what she’s doing to those poor dogs. SHUT HER DOWN NOW!!!

In my search for German Shepherds, Sandy was most helpful. Her passion and love for her boys and girls at Woodside German Shepherds is evident in every area of her business!

I got a rescue from Sandy several years ago, I had to say good bye to Timmy last fall. He was the most loyal kind loving and gentle boy. I would go to Sandy again to get another Shepherd. The day he came home with me it was like he had lived here all his life. He did not get aggressive with my other Shepherd or with my sheltie and also did not show any fear. Truly a wonderful dog.

This breeder has gone DOWN HILL and needs to be shut down. Worst of all, she seems to care very little about the overall health of the dogs she's producing. We have 2 of her dogs. I should have known something was wrong when sandy told us that our female shepherd had "Khimosabi" on both sides of pedigree. We just put our male down. He suffered from inflammatory bowel disease his whole life. We later found out his sister passed the same way. He was EXTREMELY aggressive as well. Shes gotta stop.

Bought my first dog from Sandy in 1987, she was a beautiful dog and so smart. Bought our second dog in 2009. She had terrible digestive and fear problems from the beginning. Contacted Sandy but she was no help at all. Tried everything, numerous training classes and socialization but she is still fearful of everything and everyone. She is 7 now and has severe problems with her hips and cannot go after a ball anymore or go for a walk. So sad.

Do not buy a dog from Woodside! Bought a dog a few months ago from Sandy. She is very aggressive despite us non-stop socializing her from a puppy, she has seen MULTIPLE trainers, yet there have been no improvement. Are dog also has digestion problems, and has bit somebody because she is fear aggressive / dog aggressive. Not even fear based, this is REAL genetic aggression, do not buy from this breeder! Reviews are what she writes for HERSELF.

I have known Sandy for about 20 yrs and have bought 2 dogs from her kennel...Visited the kennel when we bought our first dog and was amazed at how clean and organized it was...We saw the whole business and we were really impressed with Sandy...She is a no nonsense person and tells you exactly how it is...Any time we needed to talk to Sandy about either of our dogs she was always available.I would not hesitate to reccomend Woodsides for anyone looking to buy a German Shepherd.

I have purchased two shepherds from this breeder. They are of quality and healthy. I found her to be very knowledgeable of the breed and very caring about her dogs. She has been helpful with any concerns or issues that I have had and has assisted me in raising these puppies. I'm happy that I found a breeder that is always accessible and continues to be a resource to me.I would recommend her for a puppy.

Please please do not get your puppy from woodside

We have a 1 year old puppy from her that we have been having issues with since 6 months of age. She has already bitten someone and has major reactivity problems with people and dogs. We have spent a lot of time and money on training now trying to fix. Sandy will be of very little help to you when things go wrong and will place all the blame on you. We have now heard of 4 other puppies from woodside who are all having major reactivity problems at 6 months of age. Please go anywhere else.
