    I have yet to meet an unfriendly doctor or nurse at Nanaimo Hospital. All the personnel are dedicated, the care patients receive exemplary.

    Yesterday my Husband decided he needed to go to the Emergency Room near our home in Nanaimo. I was hesitant. I had read a review of the Hospital in the local paper and it had been very critical. I grew up in a larger City and memories of the Emergency Room were people screaming, chaos and unless you were near dead you would not go. Our visit to the nanaimo Hospital was not anything like I imagined. It was very clean, well organized, efficient and friendly intake staff, nurses and doctors.
