Excellent Fish & Chip place

This is an excellent place for fish and chips. They have a Monday to Wednesday special - about $10 for all you can eat fish and chips including soft drinks. Regular menu price items are also reasonable priced. Restaurant is located in a shopping mall with ample free parking. For take out, they wrapped the food in newspapers.

Great fish 'n' chips!

Was looking for a fast / low cost alternative to the usual burger, and hadn't had fish 'n' chips in a while, so we popped in with our two year old. Service was great, beer was cold, they had opened up their small patio (picnic tables really). Nothing fancy, but it was everything you'd expect from a fish 'n' chips joint. I'll go back and try the all you can eat days (I think Mon - Wed).

Best fish ever

You want the best forget the rest. these guys are halibut and cod specialists. they do it right and good everytime!! no burgers to distract them or anything else. at times there is a line up to get in but that shows you the fact it is popular. service is good like anywhere else but the fish is the best ever. they do it right. take out best if ordered ahead. I have searched for a better fish place but keep coming back to the best. the food is simple but food does not have to be complicated to be good. this is proof. potions are good and the taste is to die for the fish rocks. to be honest fies are good but could be improved. the fish is worth the drive from surrey and Ya I am a regular there as it is worth it everytime. no hit and misses there. lots of old people there but who cares the food rocks. I'm going again tonight.!!!!

i would definately NEVER go back. i found out...

i would definately NEVER go back. i found out that they switched their AYCE fish and chip fish from pollick to bass. the change over apparently happened over a month ago. fish and chip is normally really tender and have a smooth texture to it. now this "bass" is very mushy and taste undercooked. we also had another bad experience that day, we got a guy who was new that day. we asked if we could sub onion rings instead of the fries for the AYCE. HE went to double check and came back with a "yes" later on the manager comes to our table and told us, your server made a mistake but since he agreed we'll give you onion rings on the house. it wasnt a big deal for us, we would have paid the extra charge, seriously we didnt mind at all. then when our meal came out, it came out with fries. so we thought ok, i guess we dont get the onion rings. we pointed this out to the server and asked us again, "you want onion rings?" at the end we did get our onion rings and when our bill came, they charged us for it! we had to get someone else to fix the bill. it was a terrible second experience and would never go back there again. Although the hostess told us it was only for this location that they changed their fish....
