Meet the owner

Specializing in BC and Pacific Northwest products, North Shore Liquor Shop is constantly adding new items to its inventory in order to reflect the Pacific Northwest’s craft beer, wine and spirits market.

“Our focus is local products,”says general manager Myles Scott. “We offer a very wide array of local craft beers as well as a large selection of local wines. Much like craft beer, distilleries were quick to follow, so we are starting to move towards regional spirits as well.”

Born and raised on the North Shore, Myles has been a familiar face at this friendly community-minded liquor shop for many years. “I started working here in late 2005 under previous ownership, stuck with it and ended up moving my way up to management,” he explains. The ample opportunities for learning and development in the constantly changing world of beer, wine and spirits have kept Myles intrigued and passionate since he joined the team.

“Right now I’m probably most interested in the beer side of things because of the way the craft beer market is growing and changing locally, with all the new breweries popping up left and right. It’s very interesting and there is always something new to try and learn about.”
