Lacquer Beauty Bar was inspired by 'Makeup Artist' Angela Reddy's Indian mom getting ready for a party or a wedding by visiting a salon to have her hair set, another salon for her nails and yet another place for threading.

    Great new salon in Steveston Village

    I think Laquer Beauty Bar is a great addition to Steveston. It's the best looking salon in the village by a long way. The place is spotless, beautifully decorated and the estheticians are professional and efficient. I sat down for a pedicure with Samantha, followed with a hair wash and blowdry by Jamie Walton and some threading by Daman Groaya. By the time I stepped out I felt like a million dollars. The prices are similar to other salons in Richmond but the clean, white decor, comfy couches and the big screen tv - allowing you to watch a DVD as you get pampered - make a big difference. If you need some beauty attention or feel like spoiling yourself, this is a great place to go.

    Thank you Lacquer Beauty Bar for opening up a beauty salon in Steveston! I have been waiting for a chic all in one beauty salon in Richmond for years and I'm so happy to see you've made that happen! You provide an upscale beauty salon experience, without the pain in my wallet. Love it!

    Lacquer Nail Salon in Steveston Village

    DO NOT go to this nail salon, not only did we have to wait 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment for 4, the manager did not have enough staff working so while 2 of us had pedicures, the other two had two ladies had to wait. THEN After the 1 employee gave my friend the worst polish she had to have to re-done, my 4 year old could have applied polish better than these girls. We were late for our 1:00pm lunch reservation because the manager was incompetent, then she proceeds to tell her staff to "hurry up" because we had reservations, like it was there fault. FINALLY They gave us 10% off for first time customers but didn't offer any other discount for the worst pedicures and service ever.
