Smiles @ Fleetwood Dental Centre

I have been a patient of Smiles for several years and have had fillings and crowns and cleaning. The staff is all very friendly and professional from the gal who greets you when you arrive to the hygienists, dental assistants and dentists. They are diligent with covid protocols. I would reccommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist, especially in the Fleetwood area.

I just had a dentist appointment with Dr. Chu to fill a tooth that had broken and at least half was missing. Although he highly recommended a crown, he was able to successfully fill the damaged tooth (rebuild). The procedure was completely painless and took less than an hour. I highly recommend Dr. Chu for any dental care you may need. I regularly have all of my cleaning done at Smiles and couldn't be happier, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Mark M

very professional if you need more than just a cleaning this is the place. They are fantastic honest about what you need. Don't judge you for your oral indescretions instead they work with you to improve your oral health. From the front desk to the hygienists this group. I have attended this dental practice for 14 years. The comfort, knowledge & patient care they provide puts you at ease and makes dental visits enjoyable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone, even with anxiety as they truly know how to care for all patients needs.

Dr. Eric Chu is a great dentist. He is knowledgeable, open to questions, the local freezing done worked very well, his work has been very good. Very open and friendly.

Very attentive and thorough dental office

I had a botched root canal performed by my previous dentist several years ago which never healed and had formed an abscess. I was referred to Drs. Eric Chu and Kitty Lam's practice at Fleetwood Dental in Surrey because I had heard that they were very skilled dentists. Dr. Lam spent a lot of time diagnosing and explaining to me what needed to be done to help take care of the abscess and when it came time for the procedure, I had a very gentle and friendly dental assistant Cher, who sat with me at the chairside throughout the entire time and was very attentive. Dr. Lam was very thorough and gentle and even Dr. Chu popped in to say Hi and offer reassurance. They understood that I had had a bad experience with my previous dentist and really took the time to make sure I felt safe and comfortable throughout my procedure. I was very impressed!"

New owners driven by money over care and service

I have been going to this clinic for over 20 years and when Janice was there it was awesome. I am so dissappointed with the new owners that she sold to. They are focused on one thing... making MONEY. It shows in every aspect of what they do. They upsell you on things you need. They assure you that you "need" something and that your insurance will cover it (I had to find out the bad way when I got a $500 bill for things not included). They get you in the chair as much as possible. They are so much after money that they even have signs posted around the room saying "don't forget to use up your health benefits before the end of the year" Who are they wanting to benefit? THEMSELVES and their pocket book!!! The owner is SO rude and condensending to her staff, I don't know how they take it. All of the good staff from the years have left. When they are working on you they don't talk to you, they talk amongst themselves and can't take the time or the curteousy to explain what's going on or what they are doing. Sit down, open your mouth and your wallet. end of conversation. Overall I am so dissappointed and angry that I will never go back.
