Do yourself a favor and don’t go here.The staff are incredibly rude and their dog food sucks made my dog very sick and he ended up in the hospital with thousands of dollars of vet bills they rave about their raw dog food but it really is the worst in the city. I went there today to discuss how it’s made and what is in it but I didn’t get a chance as the large lady behind the counter yelled at me to wear a mask in front of other customers. Rude.

Sports City consistently provides exceptional customer service. Because of this they have been our go to for top quality, affordable raw dog food for the past 4 years. Our dog loves their food so much we have it shipped to the island (and its still on par or better than the local prices!). Even though I call every 3 months or so, Margaret has always remembered who I am and added a personal touch to our conversations. We recommend them to all who ask about our dog and his shiny coat.
This place is great! They are so friendly and accommodating. They are very knowledgeable and give advice about how much food you need for a certain amount of people and how to cook it. I have bought meats for different occasions a lot over the years. I called to get a brisket for super bowl and they gave me the perfect amount. Prices are reasonable and they have a great selection of raw food and bones for dogs too! Family run business with old school service. Support local!
High quality meat. Never a disappointment!!! Always fabulous, friendly customer service. No matter how busy they are, they always have time to answer questions about the products and make suggestions. I no longer want to shop anywhere else for my meat.
Great service and great prices. I love the newsletter with deals of the week and for special occasions. They even feed my dog. Marg and Vern are super friendly and make us feel so welcome and know us by name. A nice small town feel. I'd recommend them any day.
I love this place for my own meat, as well as raw for my dogs. I'm surprised by the other two reviews as they are almost identical and days apart. I have never had any issues with the lady who works there, she has always been very friendly. It is a husband and wife team and they have always been great as far as special requests. They cut up my dogs raw into smaller pieces all the time. Anytime I buy over 10lbs Vern insists on carrying it out to my car no matter how busy they are.
Went in today to buy side-ribs would they remove the membrane from the ribs.
The Owner in a very rude tone that she will not do this. Okay, understandable and I stated that I will have to find another place.
I confronted her and told her that I did not appreciate her tone. I thought a Butcher Shop was for customers that wanted special cuts and meats prepare in a specific way. She absolutely lost it became challenging & extremely unprofessional, saying that they don't need my business!
I made a little request which the woman working there quickly refused. When I had to take time to make a decision on an alternative, she threw down the product she was holding. When I was ready to pay, she continuously "explained" her predicament in order to justify her situation in a rude and condescending fashion. I finally just had it and told her to just charge and fulfill the transaction. That's when she lost it and told me to leave the place.
