Beware of This Business!

They seemed to have used high heat to dry my duvet.All the fiber inside the duvet gathered in the middle and it was damaged!This was a $250 kingsize duvet,the owner said that it’s not hisproblem! I told him that that is not the first time they themselves put that duvet in the dryer & every time it turns out fine.So something must have happened this time. He pushed t/ duvet & asked me asked me to take my duvet & leave !! Rudeness, bad business practice & terrible service!

This place is a basic laundry mat. Would I leave my blankets here to be done by someone else? probably not - I'm not that trusting of ANY laundry service anyway - This a Busy, PUBLIC laundry mat, so, anyone can accidentally leave gum in a dryer, or kleenex in a washer...(it can happen) I would say this is a good place generally and I have found friendly people here. Accidents might happen, but not usually. Do your own Due Diligence. It is basic and it works for me.

Do not use this company

Dec 18 2011 I picked up the comforter, returned home and proceeded to place in on my bed. That's when I noticed where large areas of the top fabric was stuck to the filling! It was obvious that the materials has been fused together! I tried separating it, but I could tell that the fibers inside were not separating from the top fabric. I returned the comforter to Great West Coin Laundromat. I showed the attendant the problem. She said she would talk to her supervisor. A gentleman came out and I proceeded to explain to him the problem. He responded to me that nothing was wrong and that the comforter was still usable. I told him the comforter had been washed many times without a problem. He said that it was not damaged here! He said I could just pull the the fabric away from the filling then use it! At no time did he admit that his machines were the problem. He asked me what I wanted done. Knowing full well that he would not be able to replace the comforter, I told him I wanted a full refund ($18 cash) because of the damage that was clearly done by his machines. He said the best he would do is refund half the money. I told him that was unacceptable. and proceeded to walk away. I followed him insisting that was unacceptable and that I wanted his name so that I could contact the owner. He would not give his name and proceeded to say "you just want a free cleaning"!!! He said take the money and take him to small claims court!! Then locked himself in his back office. I was shocked! I went to the front desk, asked the attendant for the half refund and left. Before leaving I asked that attendant if that was the manager or the owner... she said the OWNER!!! Understandably, this company has unacceptable quality of service and would never recommend them to anyone.
