If you have never been to the Pacific Institute...
If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island.
I went there recently and ordered the following:
Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9)
Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19)
Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8)
This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.
The Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts is an accredited private culinary centre located at the entrance to Granville Island. Small classes, hand-on training and dedicated Chef Instructors give each student the personal attention they need to master the 'art' of cooking and baking and you can taste their knowledge in the restaurant section.
