I am always recommending Simons bike shop to people from Vancouver, because they give you free tune-ups for life when you buy a bike there. But in addition, Simon has fought for me when I had warranty problems with my bikes manufacturer, and he got them to give me a whole new bike - on two separate occasions. Amazing.

After going to 3 different bike shops in Vancouver, a friend told me about Simon's. So I checked it out. After being rejected by the 3 other places, I walked into Simon's and this guy at the front desk greeted me right away and asked what I needed. I told him what I need and then he asked the service guy to please fix this guys bike, he wants to go out and ride today. Its like he took the words out of my mouth. They fixed it for dirt cheap, so I tipped the guy 12 bucks. Amazing place!! Thanks.

A Vancouver institution for over 25 years, this Robson Street bike shop has an impressive fleet of rental bikes for locals and visitors who want to take a self-guided tour along the nearby seawall. Those shopping for their own set of wheels can choose from an impressive selection of road, cross-country, mountain, hybrid, urban and trail bikes from Rocky Mountain Bikes. The Canadian-made bikes range from about $500 for youth bikes to over $5,000 for elite models. If you need to suit up before you hop in the saddle, check out riding gear and accessories from Oakley, Giro and Activo.
