I do not recommend this company at all. While you may get a slightly lower hourly rate than other similar companies, you get poor service. The movers damaged our elevator. After filing their prescribed claim form, we have yet to hear back from the "owner", despite following up 5 times by email and 2 times by phone. Small Moves will gladly pick up the call to book your move but don't expect them to handle any issue related to damaged goods or insurance - they make excuses that no one is available
I am the person who believes something small is usually good or nice; however, not always.
I moved from a 1000 sqft condo(2 beds) in vancouver downtown to a house in north vancouver.
They recommended 3 person for fast moving. I beleved his advice because this company has lots of good reviews.
1. They came over 45 minute late.
2. They didn't bring any blanket for covering my floor.(They made several scratches on my wood floor.
3. One guy is a beginner- it's okay, but another guy is too exeprie
I used Yellow page all the time and almost never write reviews. I had to break my bad habit to write a review for Small Moves Vancouver- these guys were amazing! They moved at lightening speed, and got all of my apartment safely moved into my new place in under 3 hours. All of my stuff made it without any incident, and making the moving experience a little less stressful.

There aren't enough positive things that I can say about these guys. Prompt efficient, kind & smiling, careful and quick! WELL worth every cent. They arrived at 9 AM as promised and were done in less than 2 1/2 hours. I highly recommend them - next time I move there isn't a question that I'll be using Small Moves Vancouver.

When I called in the gentlemen I spoke to was so nice and quoted me $250 less then three other movers I got quotes with. He made sure to give me very detailed pricing information so that there were no surprises.
On the day of the move team called me to let me know they were on their way. They were fast and knew what they were doing, and took special care with our TV, painting, computer etc.
I recommend this company to all.
These guys are polite, quick and exceptionally helpful. I've done a long distance as well as a short distance moves with them, and storage also. Very great pricing and excellent customer service. I have a lot of antiques, and feel more comfortable giving directions on how to handle them, and they are always very cooperative with my needs. No broken stuff! That's the best.
I used this service to move into my apartment in 2015. Less expensive than I expected, and great service. Since using Small Moves Vancouver to move, I've recommended them to several friends who were also moving out of their apartments.
They were careful, friendly, and hard working -- not to mention it was a crazy hot day! They made sure that everything was placed in the right room when it came in, and asked me questions if they weren't sure. I've used other movers before, and these guys were far, far better!
I had to do some moving today and found Small Moves Vancouver had top reviews in Yellowpage. I too like to give 5 star review. The team, did a great job. On time, courteous and honored the promised "time". Thank you for a job well done!
The movers arrived on time and were polite. They also assembled furniture for us. They were careful not to damage things and when things were challenging they persevered. I would recommend them.
Love these guys! Excellent customer service and super fast packing and hauling time! These guys took care of everything for me. They called and emailed to confirm everything beforehand. They were so nice and so efficient I felt compelled to tip them, they were that great! Thanks guys!!
These guys were rock stars. All of the guys were extremely efficient in how they managed the truck, how they packed everything and how to rapidly and carefully move items into both levels of the house. I must say, they were not cheap, but it's an amazing cause, all of the guys were super friendly and great to have around for your moving needs.
I am very pleased with Small Moves Vancouver. The movers were...on-time (even a few minutes early) and very professional throughout the move...no complaining, no wasted time, very gracious, etc... I was quoted 4 hours from start-to-finish which was almost spot-on. They moved all my Furniture and nothing demaged, I really like their way of working as they are very professional, good attitude and no hidden charges.
I recomend all that this is the best company and you must hire it.

Trucks arrived on time and movers were prompt and quick to move furniture and items. They also had the right packing material and tools for the more fragile items. Would hire them again for other small moves.
It's the first time I hire movers and I am so glad I went with them! Everyone I interacted with treated me with respect and they made sure to answer all of my questions. My stuff arrived within the delivery window time and everything in perfect shape.
My experience was great and I will definitely hire them again if I need to do a move.
