I got my skis mounted here and not even 5 months later the screws fell out when i was in the backcountry at Mount Baker. Turns out the guy who mounted them (also the owner of the store) forgot to glue them in place, because the screws fell out, the bottom plate on my binding endend up breaking. I returnted to the store to tell them what had happened and the owner, with the stench of alcohol on his breath told me "theres nothing we can do, its not my fault, theres no way to fix it, we will just put some screws in it and you can get out of here", constantly cursing. He clearly didnt want to take any responsibility in it. He insisted it was the quality of the binding and ski, which are Marker Dukes and K2 Obsethed, both not even one season old and a very high quality product! This place is obviously not capable of such an easy task as mounting a pair of skis and bindings properly. They may sell skis and snowboards but they definitly do not provide any "Service". This place is very un-profesional and highly un-qualified. I would not reccomend this place to anyone!!!

The product selection at this Kitsilano specialty shop changes with the seasons: during the summer months you’ll find skateboards, wakeboards and water skiing gear, but come winter they’re all about skis, snowboards, boots, bindings and snow-sport accessories. Visit the store before hitting your local mountain to pick up all the equipment you need to ride safely and stylishly. The on-site service centre will also help with getting your gear sharpened, waxed and tuned up for the season. West Coast Sports also offers multi-day rental packages and partners with the Vancouver Ski School for private lessons.
Another shop along outdoor activity row on 4th Avenue in Kits is West Coast Sports, specializing in winter sports gear like skis, snowboards and snowshoes. Happy to fit, wax and tune your gear, they also offer rentals and great deals on used or demo equipment.
