For visitors looking for some wheels to cruise around the Sea Wall in Stanley Park, over to Kits Beach or into downtown for some shopping, Yes Cycle is the shop to visit. Since 2010, when Iraj Akbari and Fabio Meisami first opened its doors, Yes Cycle has been known for its excellent customer service, and renting quality cycling equipment to Vancouverites and travellers from around the world. In wintertime the shop carries skis for those looking to get out on the snow at Grouse or Cypress.

Fabio Meisami, the managing partner, is an energetic character and eager to equip anyone who enters his shop with well-fitting, quality equipment so that they'll be comfortable on their ride. Yes Cycle rents all sorts of bikes, including tandem and kids' bikes, trailers, helmets, accessories and even a special trailer for carrying dogs that Fabio refers to as “the dog limo”.

Because the bike rental market in Vancouver is largely based on the allure of riding around the trails in Stanley Park, there are quite a few other shops on Denman also renting bikes. Fabio says Yes Cycle keeps their customers happy by keeping the bicycles in good working order, and by accommodating a variety of languages. The staff at Yes Cycle speak Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Farsi and English.
