Canadian Tire General Store

Both my late husband and myself have had our cars serviced there for years. And he had an older model Camaro and they would go the extra mile to find parts. I took my 2005 ford focus in today to just have new windshield wipers installed. They notice all my tires were low. and toped them to the proper PSI. no charge, So I really appreciate them going the extra mile. I have found courtesy goes both ways.

DO NOT GO THERE! I've had a car inspected before purchasing it. They charged me $130 and told me it was "in excellent condition, not a single thing needs attention". I bought the car and drove it home to Victoria (17km away). Two days later, as I'm driving in the city, the engine shuts off while driving and the car wasn't starting for a few hours. Canadian tire refuse to take responsibility, saying something must have happened after the inspection. The manager of the shop actually told me that

Not very good, more staff at the customer service desk chatting then on the floor. Finally got frustrated left to go take my business elsewhere, only to watch another customer complaining at customer service needing assistance as well! Pretty sad.
