Above average Remake of the old Gorge Hotel
The Gorge Pointe Pub is located where the old Gorge Hotel Parking lot once stood. The old hotel was great; a California missionary style hotel with a very large beer parlour. But that was many years ago and the replacement is the Gorge Point Pub. Built on a location where there had been a drinking establishment since 1880's, the Gorge Pointe Pub is active, somewhat noisey, and alive with activity. The food and service are generally good with your pub style food menu. The selection of beers is very good and of course they offer up the usual games and an ample amount of TV's. We like going there when we are in the mood for a decent lunch usually served promptly in a friendly atmosphere. We normally have not had any "bad surprises" especially when it comes to good service.
