    Inexperienced, Terrible Quality.

We took our 2003 Tiburon here to have it polished as it was full of swirl marks. I told Dan that I used to be a detailer for many years, but simply do not have the time to polish the car myself. We left the car for a day, and were then phoned to pick it up. At first inspection, as it was sitting in mostly shade, besides some swirl marks in the drivers door and fender, it looked alright. Dan noticed this and mentioned that we "have something in our paint" (No Dan, these are called buffer trails) When we got home, in sunlight, the car had more swirl marks in the paint then when it was dropped off. We're not talking just a few marks here and there, but EVERY SINGLE PANEL looked awful. I went by the next day and told him how I completely understand that black paint is never flawless when polished, but this was a complete and utter hack job. After seeing dan that day, the more you looked at the car, the more you realized just how poorly it was polished. I realized at that point that if this was "done" to them, that they clearly do not have the skill to make it right even the second time around. I spent that saturday masking off the whole car, polishing, using swirl remover, glazing and then waxing it (the way it should have been done), the car now, although not flawless, looks pretty good. I phoned Dan today and explained all this to him, and that after looking at it, we really didn't want them making a second attempt at it, so we corrected the issue ourselves. Now comes the issue of us paying $222 for a polish job that was done so poorly, I ended up having to do it myself. Dan gets rather irritated that I have polished the car myself and says that because I fixed the paint myself, they would not issue a refund. Sorry Dan, but if that's your first attempt, there is no way your getting a second. So, overall, to say we're unhappy with the work here would be an understatement.
