Real 'home' cooking.

It's great to find a place with real homemade cooking and not everything is out of a can - so to speak. The Cherry Pit burgers taste like we'd make them a home. Breakfasts are large enough and selection varies nicely. There has always been ample parking when we go there, and staff are, well, homey, as is the atmosphere, and food.

CHERRY PIT CONFUSION

Most of the confusion is "how do we get in and our of here?". Unfortunately the parking lot can be a bit of a nightmare for new comers to the area....confusing how to drive in and out. The restaurant itself is an average fair family restuarant that has one or two pleasant highlights. The liver is excellent but other foods are just average. The breakfasts are always good but no better than others. The restaurant itself is a little on the dirty side...look in the window sills etc. A family member once worked for them cooking but quit because of conditions she felt weren't being addressed in the kitchen but she always was very picky and it wouldn't stop me from eating there.
