Rajinder Singh (Ron) Sunner & Surinder Kaur (Susan) Sunner established Laketown Furnishings Ltd. in the summer of 1971. Ron & Susan opened their first location on 1st Avenue in Williams Lake in a 2000 square foot building. Forty-two years later Laketown Furnishings still serves Williams Lake & the surrounding area. Over this period of time the business moved several times until it found two inter-connected buildings on 2nd Avenue in 1993. Many customers comment on how this complex resembles a giant maze. Clients often wander over all four floors and travel throughout the 20,000 square foot space as they search for the perfect furniture and appliances for their homes.
