    A Classy Cafe

What a delightful experience – lunch at Kayben Farm’s JoJo’s Cafe. I have eaten here once before and enjoyed the delicious Black Currant Swirl Cheesecake along with a perfectly made Chai Latte. This time I chose the Goat Cheese Salad, as recommended by the friendly server. She was right, it was excellent. My friends ordered the BLT, a Kayben Salad, and the Fettuccini. We were impressed with the quality, taste and presentation of all the dishes. To top it off we ended with a decadent cupcake that certainly tasted as good as it looked. On our way out I purchased the White Chocolate and Black Current Scone to go, which may now be my favorite. JoJo’s Cafe is my coffee/lunch place of choice due to the wonderful atmosphere and superb food!

The service was great however the food wasn't. The soup (onion) was like warm at best and completely under seasoned. The BLT was ok but the bun was dry and mealy (tasted and felt a little stale). The bacon was very fatty and could have been a little crispier. My sandwich came with a salad which consisted of 3 pieces of lettuce and NO other veggies. It mentions in the menu that all veggies for the salads are grown in the chefs garden but I guess they only grow lettuce. My kids ordered from the kids Menu and we pretty disappointed. The grilled cheese was more of a stale foccacia no cheese sandwich accompanied by 3 pieces of carrots. The pizza was very cheesy which made my son happy but the bitter tomato sauce was not good. It was extremely over priced especially for what you get. I would NOT recommend this cafe especially if you are eating with kids!!
