Do not deal with Mcsherry Auctions for a fair pric

I was recommended to contact Stuart Mcsherry as a reputable auctioneer that is very good at his job. I told Stuart that the reason for selling all of my worldly possessions was because I am moving out of the country and need all the money I can get. Stuart assured both myself and my husband that we would get approximately $12,000 - $15,000 for our possessions so we gave him everything. For our $5,000 worth of snowmobiles and trailer we got $3,500. I little low but not the end of the world. For the $10,000 worth of other household possessions including antiques and furniture we got a whole honking $1,200. We sold my $1,500 winter tires for $360. He sold my $1,500 couch for $150!. He sold my brand new, $400, only worn once, snow suite for $20! Had he indicated in any way that this could happen I would never have sent my possessions to him in the first place but he told us that we could get this much and we believed him ... much to our dismay. If you want a fair dollar for your possessions DO NOT SEND IT TO MCSHERRY AUCTIONS.
