Not Too Concerned About Customer Satisfaction
We dealt with Brock at "Precision Stone" on McGillvary but this company also goes by or is associated with "The Marble Factory" on Scurfield & "Precision Granite Works" on Spruce St. The biggest issue with this company was that they drilled a hole for the kitchen faucet in the wrong spot in our new granite countertop . Then we spent considerable time trying to find suitable faucets to fix the major screw up that they created. And guess what? Not only did they take no initiative to adjust the bill to compensate us for the inconvenience & hassle but when we did ask, they still took NOTHING off the bill for this!! They did take off a separate $300 charge for a "return trip to install" a second small piece of granite only because I objected to this significant charge, since all the workers basically did was carry in the granite & drop it on top of the cupboards. They did nothing to silicon/seal around the back wall or side of pantry to prevent liquid or crumbs from getting down the sides. It was left that way for almost 2 months until they returned to drill another hole to fit new taps. We did not directly choose to work with Precision Stone/Marble Factory but they were the partner/subcontractor of the company we did hire - "Nu-Life Kitchens". In my opinion,I felt that "Precision Stone/Marble Factory" did not value nor respect me as a customer. They made no gesture of goodwill nor attempt to improve customer satisfaction. There are quite a few companies around the Winnipeg area that carry the same granite, marble, tile, etc. Do your research & make sure that you hire a company that values you as their customer & makes an attempt to improve customer satisfaction. Buyer beware!!
