Quiet & Clean
If you're looking for a place to camp in N.B., we feel this is the place. It's a small campground, the majority of the people there are seasonal, the owners and staff are extremely nice. There isn't alot to do activity wise, but that's what we wanted, there is a place to swim, with a slide into the water. A small play ground for the kids to play, with a games room (we didn't use it). The store has limited items with ice, chips and ice cream, but the stores in town aren't that far away. Remember to bring your passport because the U.S.A. borner is a hop skip jump away. The washroom has 2 toilet stalls and 2 showers, very clean, seemed everytime we were there they were cleaning them( we were still able to get in and use them), with shower curtains and mats washed every day. There is one washer (2 loonies) one dryer(6 quarters) but with the majority of the campers living close by there isn't a huge demand for them. What we liked the best, quiet peaceful and everyone was super nice. The cabins worked well for our crew. There are 2, 2 bedroom cabins, both have bunk beds (double bottom, single top) and a double bed. Small fridge, kettle, hot plate, toaster. The 3rd cabin is one big open room with single bunk beds and a pull out double couch (slants the wrong way) has air conditioning,t.v. , sink with running water, fridge, kettle.hot plate, toaster. Note there are no toilets or showers in the cabins. We were on site right beside the cabins with our RV with full washroom and full kitchen, therefore our family staying in the cabins made use of our kitchen and our toilet from time to time but used the camp showers and toilets. While we were there we were already planning our trip back for next summer.
