puny portions, poor service. Took a few friends to introduce them to Indian food, which I am familiar with. Food was okay but portions that were delivered (eventually) were too small to feed a group of people. emailed manager to complain, never heard back.
when I first came to this restaurant, i was very happy to get some good Indian food!. I even recommended it for all my friends visiting moncton... Things changed drastically on my 4th visit...the shrimp tasted awe full....my wife n me tasted one each...didnt want to make an issue among other visitors.. so called the waitress and told her that shrimp may have gone bad...she took the curry back and brought in another curry... then the owner comes in and says I have eaten 4 of the 8 shrimps and also says that I am acting like a typical "indian" and started arguing. I told him..we tasted 1 each and there is one shrimp on each of our plates... then he talks about how shrimp is not fresh in NB etc.. anyway we walked out of the restaurant and decided never to visit again!! this incident left a bad taste and ruined our weekend!
Absolutely terrible, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Right off the bat I noticed the restaurant itself smelled off and I knew what I was in for. The food tasted like it had been made two days prior and reheated and was very bland. The service was mediocre at best and we constantly felt rushed to finish and leave. I will not be dining here again.
Very impressed with food, service. Talked to owner, very friendly. Will definetely go back. Top one in my list. Cozy atmosphere, good place for a date.
We boldly say Asian Garden is the best place to eat in all of Moncton. The food is delicious! The atmosphere is clean tranquil and welcoming! The price is right! The service is warm and cordial! When we lived in Moncton we went out to eat once a month. Asian Garden was that place! We have sinced moved to Ontario and have not been there for 6 months. We are travelling back to NB for a week to visit family and Asian Garden is on the list!
I wasn't expecting much from an Indian restaurant in Moncton, but was very pleasantly surprised. The food was quite good and the prices were reasonable. The only complaint I have is the chai masala was quite weak and watery, and so was the rice pudding. Everything else was really tasty, nicely spiced, distinctive tastes to each dish and quite tomato-ey (which is the way I like my Indian food). The service was really quick and friendly. We'll definitely be returning.
Their curry is delicious and well spiced. They were friendly, courteous and hospitable. The owner seems to take great honor if you tell them you really like their food. Considering trying some veggie dishes.
I heard from lot of my friend their is new indian reastraunt in moncton their food is real taste of indian food.when i tried o my god that is real food from india it was reminding me my trip to india in 2001 and prices are also very good.
