We are the oldest privately owned practice in Moncton and have been in business for over 45 years. We are still independent and locally owned. Your pets health and well-being are very important to us, and we take every possible measure to give your animals the care they deserve. Elmwood Veterinary Hospital is a full service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases during office hours as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We also offer holistic veterinary services like veterinary acupuncture, Chinese and Western Herbal medicine, natural supplements and food consults like raw diets, home made diets, Chinese food therapy. Our veterinarians are open-minded and have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care.

We are the first Cat Friendly Practice in Moncton and have achieved Gold status with the American Association of Feline Practioners. We also have AAHA FEAR FREE certified staff members. We are happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the 2016 Petsecure Partner Award for Outstanding Achievement in promoting pet health insurance! Our dedication to keeping pets healthy and maintaining a high standard of veterinary care was rewarded by PetSecure as we are the only veterinary hospital in New Brunswick to have been selected for this award!
