I hired Ron Martin's Plumbing and Heating LTD. to install a time of time meter. I was advised by the electrician that they sent that [Ron Martin's Plumbing and Heating LTD.] would file the application for the time of day meter with Nova Scotia Power and complete the process so that I would billed differently for off-peak electricity use. Fantastic service with phenomenal response time!
Ron and his staff arrived at my door within 45 minutes of my call. They ended up spending most of the day changing out our pressure tank, 100 of waterline and a failed pump from my well in -10 weather.
They were able to remedy our issue and get our water flowing again.

Hired this company to fish a drain as they have the longest fish in the area.
They failed to solve the issue and only mildly lessened it, in the process they also incorrectly disconnected a toilet later deciding not to reinstall it.
Despite the entire debaucle they still charged me almost 300 dollars for 20m of incorrect work and not fixing the issue. (A price not previously discussed.)
Avoid these guys, wish I had of looked at the reviews prior.
Hired them to do several small plumbing jobs. The plumber was specifically asked to bring one item. When he arrived he didn't have it, and had to go get one. Charged me $90 for the time it took him to go get what he was originally supposed to have with him. They also over billed me on how long the job was.
Sent a plumber & apprentice. My general contractor (who actually recommended the company) said that the plumber was dumb & slow (which I learned to agree with) and the the apprentice was better. The plumber made an number of errors (putting clean outs for one apartment in another instead of the basement, putting drain pipes farther from the wall than needed so they protruded into the room), complained about having to move the HW tank (it was heavy) and not wanting to remove a cast iron drain.
I had a massive flood in my basement and the company was quick to respond and quicker to correct the problem all with a fair and reasonable price. I have used Ron Martins multiple times in the past and always receive great results so I will continue to do so.
No free estimate. Charged me over a hundred dollars just to get an estimate to fix a problem with my well. Because of this I will never call the again.

An estimate was not requested at time of call. We promptly sent out a tech to your location same day. The invoice you received was for a service call to your location at your request.

Too expensive
Had this company for the drain pipe cleaning and as a result was left with a large bill for the 30min job.
Here are the some facts about it:
1. They will not give you an estimate.
2. They will not give a bill after job is done.
3. You will receive bill in mail, week later, with the exaggerated amount.
