I was amazed how ...

I was amazed how terrible the service was at this location. I called to simply be quoted on a basic service job, and the service department forwarded my call to the parts department so I could quote my own parts. Then after quoting my own parts, I was forwarded back to the service department to give me a labour charge. At this point I was expected to have written down the parts pricing and add them up myself to give them the total? I am not one to complain but I believe it would be more efficient to just have the service person walk over to the parts department and get a price.

Unethical

I have never taken the time to complain on any web site about any company. Nor have I ever complained about any meal, service or product I've ever bought. However I've never been as mad as I am about the way I was treated at Aurora Chrysler. I brought my 2008 Dodge caravan in for a new key. My old key worked and had been working for months however it did have a small crack. As it was my only key so I wanted to have a spare. When I got my old key back it was completely broken and no longer worked. Tony the service manager was nice enough and offered to look at it even though his crew told him they did not break it. This was a flat out lie. I then called Mr Chan who advised that because the key was broken already there was nothing they would do. I admit the key was broken but it still worked. I got it back and it no longer worked and was broken in several places. If you bring a car in for repair and they break something then they should fix it. I would have been happy with a discount as I admit the key was already broken, but it still worked and had been my only key for about 4 months. I can not comment on the sales dept but the way they deal with customers in there service dept is very unethical and unprofessional.
