My family and I went to Point of Mara Resort for the first time this past weekend and loved it!! The grounds were immaculate and the washrooms were the nicest I have ever been in. We will definitely be back very soon! Thanks Christine and Doug for a fabulous stay!
Spent many summers at Point of Mara Resort with my kids and now my grand kids making wonderful memories. So many friendly people around the park. A real family Trailer Park. Hard to find gold like this place!! The Reid's really care about the park and all of their guests. Everything is kept so clean and immaculate!! Lots for the kids to do. We left beginning of September 2016 before the end of season.We had given a hydro deposit of $150. At 7am the owner blocked our trailer with her truck . At 7:30 we got an email saying we could not move trailer until we paid final hydro bill with no amount . Just after a bill for $125 was emailed, we paid immediately. She then decided our lot was not clean enough but did not tell us. She deducted $80 for cleaning from our hydro deposit. We were offered no opportunity to clean it .

Thank you Tanya for the additional review. Only a $100.00 deposit was on file, not $150.00 as you stated. Our policy is accounts must be paid in full prior to leaving the park. In fact an invoice was sent to your boyfriend. The site was cleaned 2 weeks after your departure, 2 people, 2 hours, 2 trailers debris/junk, 3rd trailer of decaying garden material, 1 large shed & 1 trip to the dump. $75.00 charge (not $80.00 as you stated) is reasonable. Good campers leave clean camp sites. Have a great season!
Owners are all about money and treat park tenants poorly. Nothing for smaller children to do if you are looking at a seasonal spot because the same group has run the park committee for years and now their kids are grown so the don't do children's events and they have all their family that are not members of the park at all the events. Beautiful well maintained park but horrible ownership . I highly recommend you do not pick this park.

We have a phenomenal group of volunteers that help organize park activities & we are always looking for more volunteers to help with those events.
