Omg, I only went to Maurice Welding because Town Collision said to. Horrible job! I called back Town Collision. He quickly wanted out of the referral and denied having said good things about Maurice. Wow I got the job done at his garage beside his house. Don't walk, run from this guy. I won't be getting a penny back nor any change to his bad work, but please, don't let yourself get stung too. Part of his sales pitch is he does work for Queensway Autobody. Will be showing them his work.
Have had 2 hitches installed by Maurice. In each instance he inquired about what was being pulled to ensure correct installation. If your looking to have your butt kissed, this is not the place to go. Quality work at a good price is all.
Both myself and my best friend, who wanted to go to a local and small retailer, were horrified by the service and treatment they received. In both situations, we were not informed of the policy regarding moving a hitch, and were treated poorly when trying to ask for clarifications. Additionally, in both cases, when we expressed our confusion and displeasure, we were accused of lying and being on a "power trip". I will not go here, and will make sure that anyone who asks where to get a hitch, I tell them "Go anywhere BUT Maurices."
Stay away....far away. Customer service...zero. Wiring had opposite signals working and no brake lights when the trailer was plugged in. They refused to do anything to rectify the situation. Go anywhere else but here
