a few friends and i decided to travel from ottawa...
a few friends and i decided to travel from ottawa to brockville for a day just for fun. we ended up in the middle of downtown where this restaurant was located and decided to try out their dinner buffet. i presume you always have to generally arrive early to get the freshest food. i don't know whats in their hot & sour soup but it was delicious!!! same with the cantonese chow mein (although the noodles weren't fried which is my personal preference but was still great). the actual buffet size was decent considering it seemed like a small family owned restaurant. it definitely had enough dishes to keep me up for 3 platefuls. the fried rice was a little dry but i generally try to fill up on other foods. their ice cream bar was a little minimal in choice too (only had strawberry/vanilla/chocolate) but hey i could eat all i want! i would avoid the salad bar as it didn't seem to be too fresh but the actual food was quite satisfying. they had these beef/chicken things on a stick and chicken with fried bacon wrapped around them which sounds kind of odd and greasy but were quite tasty! give the place a try! definitely try getting there early as we went there on a weekend around 7:00pm'ish and it was packed.

we had a very large party with one waitress...
we had a very large party with one waitress imsuprised she made it.... we had atleasst 20 people. The food was good considering it wasnt the warmest.

This restaurant was nice and cozy. It seems to be family owned and has a decently sized buffet and salad bar (though I didn't eat from the latter. I was too full!). The place is right downtown. The cantonese chow mein and honey garlic chicken were delicious! The honey garlic spareribs were sparse of meat though. Overall, a nice experience!
