Absolutely horrible Jack Astor's location. Terrible service served with an attitude - after the waitress wasn't there for my entire meal, actually had to flag her down in the kitchen to get my bill. Food was cold, dirty plates, and overcooked chicken - terrible - stay away. I actually work for my money, and won't spend it at this location in the future - if you value your time and money, you won't either.
Very small quantities as I was hungry when done. Hardly any sauce in pasta dish. Not even a piece of bread or garlic toast included. Fries were cold and burger just ok. Waitress below average. Definitely will never return!!!!
I have not been to a Jack Astors in some years but was happy with my choice 1 week ago. Both my Husband and I had a salad to start and fish for entree. We both left there very full and satisfied. Now our server was obviously hungover and not doing the greatest job, but there was always a manager, hostess or another server to get what we needed. I was satisfied and would most definitly return.
Extremely rushed service. We hadn't finished our appetizer and the the entre came. We hadn't finished our entree and they asked if we wanted dessert. The spinach dip was very skimpy and cold for $10.95 and the fish and chips were extremely poor portions. Two very small pieces of fish and a handful of cold fries. Overall very poor value and below average service. It used to be pretty good a number of years ago. . There are better restaurants in that price range in Burlington.
I never used to like Jack Astor's much but I've recently tried it again. The chicken-fried-chicken was excellent. The only problem was that we ordered the pan bread when we sat down and it was forgotten. they made up for it by not charging us for it though.
If you don't mind waiting a lot and you enjoy flavourless food, this is the place for you! The service and food were awful. I'll never go to a Jack Astor's again. I went after having not been to one in a few years. They should never have changed it- their attempt to be classier has just led to extraordinarily poor quality food and disorganized service. It wasn't even busy!
The service was excellent! The steak fajita was delicious. The meat was so tender and flavourful, and they give you enough wraps, unlike some restaurants.
i like going there, but i find that sometimes i am not 100% satisfied with my meal. The service is really good though, waiters are always very friendly and entertaining.

I ordered the Cajun Chicken pizza witch was advertised in the Marti Gras festival. It was amazing!!! And HUGEEEE I cant beleave i ate the hole thing, but it was too good to put down! Loved it, all the other food is amazing there to. i strongly recomend this reterant, espically the very kind hostests , and servers.
Love the fajitas best in town, pan cheese bread is a family fav.
