Have a friend tha...
Have a friend that works in a company nearby. She recommended this place. I had catering done for 50 people at my house. I had ordered butter chicken, goat curry, Dal makhani and mixed veg. Plus all sides like naan and rice. All i can say was the food was REALLY good. Many of my guests asked where we got the food from as well. I normally dont write reviews but this was worth it seeing my guest appreciate the food. Excellent job Shahi Mahal. Will be back for sure.

Looks clean but i...
Looks clean but issues with waitress. She had me waiting to pay while she was running around doing nothing basically. It wasnt busy at all. 3 tables were occupied of 45 tables! Ordered the chicken curry boneless. They use dark meat it cost 12.60$ including 10% discount. Over priced specially in Rexdale and portions are small. Food is mediocre. Nothing special.

I do have a concern with the review you have written. 1) you have the same review written under other sites with different names. 2) The cost of our chicken curry with discount is $10.80+taxes for a total of $12.20. 3) we only have 27 tables not 45 as you have indicated. 4)Chicken curry is made with dark meat in all Indian restaurants. If you want white meat, please request white meat at time of ordering. 5)Its not over priced for Rexdale, ranges from $9.99 to $13.00 + taxes in the area. 6)Our portions are more than standard for the industry. We pride ourselves on fresh food quality, which we have been providing since opening date and will continue to deliver exceptional food.
