After completing medical school at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Tang completed a 5 year residency program in Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto. Following her residency, she did extra training to subspecialize in cancer and breast reconstruction surgery at Women's College Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Tang also has a Bachelors degree in honours physiology, and a Masters of Science in physiology, both from the University of British Columbia. She was fortunate to have collaborated with Dr. Michael Drever, a pioneer and world-renowned surgeon in breast reconstruction, for 2 years. Dr. Tang has been in practice since 1998 at William Osler Health System, Etobicoke General Hospital. Her practise includes cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, skin cancer surgery, hand surgery and general plastic surgery. In her own words, she says 'I love my job and look forward to work every day.     Dr Tang is absolutely amazing. She is very professional and sympathetic to your needs. I highly recommend her for any plastic surgery particularly Breast Reconstruction and Liposuction. Her office team is awesome. They are very helpful and compassionate.

    Love Dr Tang! She was so straight to the point and on the ball anout everything regarding my preop and post op questions. Looking to work with her again on another part of my body !

    If I could give 0 stars I would. I got referred to correct a nasty surgery scar. She basically assessed me at the door. She didn’t close the door and expected me to show my scar which is just below my butt with the door wide open! First thing she said was “Ohip won’t pay for that”. I didn’t ask if Ohip would pay! I barely said anything at all! She didn’t care. I guess it’s not a 10+k procedure so didn’t give me time or day! Don’t waste your time

    I would NOT recommend Mr Christine Tang For my first follow up appointment after my surgery she asked "how she could help me" she even asked me to take my bandages off myself! You would think the Dr would want to make the overall experience a pleasant one......not the case!!! I should have known from my consultation that she was not the right Dr for me!

    Worst doctor ever...

    Worst doctor ever! I would never ever recommend going to see Christina Tang, both my wife and myself were referred to her by our family doctor for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome tests. Upon the first visit to Christing Tang, right off the bat she was very condesending and rude, she looked at my hands and asked a few qestions, then when it came to my wife she was rude to her and stated that she does not have carpal tunnel syndrome based on the answers from a few questions.
