After having a terrible experience at Purba Vision, I came to LensCrafters in hopes I could find a specific frame that was recently discontinued. They were able to have the frames ready by the next day and the service was as terrific. The gentleman who helped me was kind and thorough, he even called me to let me know the glasses were ready at the time they had specified. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me!!! I can finally see clearly and have the frames I wanted.

Wonderful experience! The ladies were so helpful, the frames are always in fashion. Great children's section. Not overly pushy. I would highly recommend Kathy. Not sure about other reviews but this place is fantastic!

    Terrible service. Glasses are nice.

I was constantly being bothered by an extremely pushy staff member who seemed like she had no clue what she was doing. She felt so fake, changing her mind on everything when I said something. When I had decided on a pair by myself she loaded up my file and gave me the quote. I was with my boyfriend and he asked about the price differences in two lenses and she started personally attacking him. She got defensive and started snapping that he was wearing very poor quality glasses. It was really awkward because we had no idea what to say. After we were over the speed bump, she told me I had to come back as there was no optician around for measurements. I went out of my way to come back the next day (I was happy when the same woman wasn't working) and I had yet another bad experience. The first lady who helped me was very nice, but the second lady was downright awful. We were rung up at the till and when asking questions about coverage with insurance, she replied to us "I just work here, whether I help you or not it doesn't affect me" She was saying I could do this hassle free and we'd have a paying customer, but I get paid regardless and I don't care if I help or not. Very rude and I was taken back. This situation could have been handled way better. She simply could have said "No sorry, we can't offer that service" or given advice on alternatives. Anything else. Perhaps LensCrafters management should consider giving better training or hire people that have common decency and basic interactive skills. Needless to say I did not buy the glasses and I will likely never return to LensCrafters again, not the Stone Road Mall one at least. I am never one to complain about anything and in no way a difficult customer, but I was so upset that I had to review this. The only good thing I have to say about this store is the good selection of high quality glasses.
