Company changed pump. Started leaking and freezing, getting worse, now pools of water and ice. Customer Service said it would not be warrantied after 30 days. This was $500 of repair on a 2,300 dollar fridge. Repairman promised warranty.... DO not use them...
I called to reschedule my appointment and they wanted me to pay $80 before they would rescheduled. I obviously refused and they said they would be sending me to a collections agency. I told them this is no way to get new clients and they told me that this is there policy and they don't care. Horrible service!!!!
my refrigerator was repaired on the same day i called! i called in the morning, the tech was here on the same day. the tech had the part with him, and i am really satisfied !
Their business model is to attract individuals with a professional website, 24/7 flexible service, and the $80 servicing. The guy will get to your house and Won't begin until you pay $280.00 + HST (meaning the $80 that you originally thought just to get to your House/Business) and $200 for his time to repair. They make you sign an invoice that states that their success rating is 80% successful. Based on their recent survey that they had conducted. The service technician was in my basement for less than an hour and he mentions to me that there is bad news. It will cost another $400 + HST to get the part from the warehouse with installation from one of their technicians. I declined to move forward and decided to purchase a new appliance. But it is killing me inside that this individual had made over $300 to test in less than an hour.. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The technician was knowledgeable and quick, BUT a minimum labour charge of almost $300 which I had to agree to pay before work started. The advertisement says same day service - don't count on it, it was a 3 day wait. I will NOT be using these guys again. I have since priced a couple of other service providers in my area and their fees are about half of what was charged.
The minimum labor charge for a visit is quite substantial & you will be required to sign a labor contract before they begin looking at your appliance. I had a technician come out to my triplex to fix my commercial washer and once he started looking into the machine he told me that his company could not fix commercial washers and I had to call another company. I was obligated to pay the fee and had to pay another company to actually fix it. The new company just reset it and it worked again.
